We Bring Care To People Who Seek It.
We dedicate our practice to fully understanding our patients on an individual level. Functional medicine and integrative healthcare are very time consuming and complex.
This evolutionary practice of medicine requires the commitment to invest in your wellbeing both behaviorally and financially.
- We dedicate our time to get to know each patient as a whole person.
- Our quality of diagnostic and therapeutic tools is the gold standard in the healthcare industry.
- We are continually educating and training ourselves to stay on top of the latest techniques.
- We spend a lot of energy, time and money to build our expertise in both conventional medicine and integrative medicine through medical board certifications, continuing education, and collaboration with our contemporaries.
- We practice what we preach. We use intravenous and oral therapies on our beloved family members and ourselves.
- All treatment plans offered to our patients are based on scientific, clinical, professional and personal experiences.
Here’s some information on how we operate:
First Appointment
New patient appointments are scheduled for 90 minutes. Dr. Carchedi is very detail-oriented and therefore takes his time to get to know your history so that he will be able to individualize a treatment plan just for you. At the time of your appointment, you will be asked for your date of birth and email so that a detailed medical questionnaire can be completed before your visit. We always abide by HIPPA confidentiality.
Due to the 90-minute time length of the initial appointment, a valid credit card is required at the time of scheduling to secure your visit. Credit cards will only be charged a fee if appointments are cancelled less than the 2-business days’ notice stated in our cancellation policy.
Please be aware that our office functions solely as a specialist practice. We cannot act as a Primary Care Physician, and our patients are required to establish one for acute care medical issues and annual physicals. We do not have an answering service or an on-call doctor.
Follow-up Appointments
Follow up appointments are approximately one hour depending upon the patient needs. All test results will be reviewed during your follow-up appointments.
Insurance
We do not accept insurance or Medicare, and we do not file insurance paperwork on your behalf. Some diagnostic tests are covered by private health insurance (i.e., blood work).
Appointment Time/Cancellation Policy
We value all of our patient’s time and strive to provide the best care possible in the most comfortable setting. Please understand that our appointment times are scheduled to allow us to take care of each patient’s individual needs during the consultations. Since we are allocating a large sum of time to treat you, we require 2-business days’ notice from our patients who are unable to keep their scheduled appointments. (e.g. Monday appointments must be canceled or rescheduled by Thursday and Tuesday appointments must be canceled or rescheduled by Friday.) There is a $100 fee for any appointments that are not canceled or rescheduled within this time frame. For new patient appointments, we require a credit card on file to secure your first visit. Credit cards will be charged the full amount of your initial appointment if we do not receive proper notice of your cancellation or reschedule.
We pride ourselves on being on time with our scheduled appointments. If you are 15 or more minutes late to your scheduled visit, your appointment will be cancelled and will need to be rescheduled.
As of now, we are fee-for-service. We accept all debit and credit cards (except for American Express and Discover), checks, and cash.
Payment is due at time of services rendered.
Please call our office for any further information.
